Ingredients:
- Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
- Jaggery (or) brown sugar - 2 tbsp
- Cumin and Fennel powder - 2 tsp
- Red chili powder - 0.25 tsp
- Salt - one pinch
Method:
- Put Jaggery/Sugar with half a cup of water on the stove ('Soup' mode in IP)
- When it dissolves and comes to boil, reduce the temperature
- Let it bubble for a minute and thicken
- Add tamarind paste and boil for another minute
- Add the cumin, fennel and red chili powders, along with a pinch of salt
- Turn off heat and let it cool
- Chutney is ready for use with any chaats or snacks
