This refreshing yogurt smoothie is wonderful on a summer afternoon and for the gut as well.
Ingredients:
- Strawberries - 4-8 (based on size)
- 1 Strawberry - thinly sliced and slit in the middle
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Ice cubes - 0.5 cups
- Agave nectar (or) honey - 1 tbsp
- Granola - 2 tbsp
- Silted almonds - 1 tbsp
- Chocolate nibs - 1 tbsp
- Whipped cream - optional
Method:
- Blend the strawberries yogurt, agave nectar and ice cubes into a blender
- Run it on a 'smoothie' cycle or blend it until ice cubes are crushed evenly
- Pour it into a tall glass till three-fourths full
- Top with granola, silted almonds, Choco nibs and whipped cream (if using) as desired
- Decorate with the strawberry slices on the rim of the glass and serve away!
