An effortless way to use up a bunch of ripe bananas. This is so easy to make that even young children can make it! This recipe will quickly become a favorite to make and savor. It is also used as an offering to Gods in Temples or during poojas.
Ingredients:
- Bananas - 6
- Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
- Sugar - 6-8 tsp (as per sweetness of bananas)
- Cardamom - 3
- Edible camphor - 1 pinch (optional)
- Roasted gram powder - 1 tsp (optional)
Method:
- Cut the bananas into circles or cubes, as per preference
- Sprinkle sugar on top of the bananas
- Add grated coconut
- Powder the cardamom seeds and add
- Powder the edible camphor (if using) with two fingers and add
- Toss everything gently just before serving
- If using, add the roasted gram powder and toss again
- Serve immediately (offer to God before serving, if using as prasaadam)
