Ingredients:
- Unbroken rice - 2 cups
- Ghee - few drops
- Turmeric - 0.5 tsp per cup of rice
- Kumkum - 0.5 tsp per cup of rice (optional)
Method:
- If making both colors, take half the unbroken rice in a vessel
- Drizzle 5-6 drops of ghee and massage it into the rice grains
- Sprinkle turmeric on the rice and mix until the color evens out
- Fill up the pooja plate and store the rest in an air-tight container
- Place the rest of the rice in the vessel
