Veggie Omelet

Spelt as omelet or omelette, this can make a quick and sumptuous breakfast.  Loaded with vegetables, these fluffy eggs will surely be enjoyed by all.  A few tips and tricks given will make the outcome even better!  


Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 8-10
  • Milk - 0.25 cup
  • Tomato - 1 large
  • Onion - 1 large
  • Chopped colored bell peppers - 0.5 cup
  • Salt 
  • Black pepper - 1 tsp

Method:

  • Chop the tomatoes, onions and bell peppers small
  • Set a pan to heat on the stove
  • Crack the eggs into a bowl
  • Beat them with a wire whisk nicely
  • Add the milk and beat well again
  • Add the chopped tomato, onion and bell peppers
  • Add the salt and black pepper powder and mix well
  • Smear a tsp full of oil on the pan and spread well
  • Pour a ladleful of the eggs and veggies into the heated pan
  • Flip it after 2 minutes and cook well on the other side too
  • Serve hot with some toast and orange juice on the side! 


Tips and Tricks:

  • Beating the eggs well give soft and fluffy omelets
  • Adding milk makes the omlets fluffier and richer in taste
  • Chopping the vegetables into small pieces helps them to cook evenly rather than big chunks that will need more time to cook and the eggs can burn by then
  • Adding the salt and pepper gives a more even taste than sprinkling salt and pepper over the omelets
